Munitions Grade Finish: A brushed steel finish that may contain visible imperfections when inspected closely. Simple, but the most susceptible to rust. All gorgets come oiled and waxed but you will have to re-apply  every so often.

Keyhole and Pin: A simple keyhole and pin rivet closure that is elegant and lasts generations, though susceptible to opening if you place moving straps over the gorget.

Mechanically Rolled collar: Created for comfort and a solid structure. ensuring a clean look and a rock solid defenses.

Pickup: Default price does not include shipping but you can come pick it up yourself if you are in Ontario OR come to any SCA or HEMA event I will be at and I will bring it with me.  I will also travel to Ontario groups practices for bulk orders  5 or over.

The most durable historical finish offered. While slightly irregular looking up close this Gloss black historical style finish is also rust resistant, weather resistant, and self healing with abit of heat and friction!

A careful heat treatment creates a remarkable polished Gold film over the entire gorget. Not often seen in history as traditionally they would use REAL gold (we both know we dont have the wallets for that) this heat gold is a lovely alternative. The colour is only microns thick so prone to scratching but makes the steel even more rust resistant then just polishing. Waxing or protective coatings are recommended. +$100CAD

Carefully hand rolled with practiced hands each edge is tipped outward over the anvil taking between 2-4hours each gorget. This added labour of love stop swords sliding up and over the collar and shows off each hammer blow of the smith.  The bib rolls are additional stability and comfort to the wearer and reduces wear to delicate clothing underneath. +$100CAD

A Leather strap and Buckle replace the default pin closure to ensure locking when worn under armour and straps. The buckle also allows for half an inch of flexability on the size of the gorget itself making it ideal for loaner gear, however the leather may wear out over time so think carefully. +$5CAD
